Part 10 of The Complete Girl Scout Guide to Traveling to Savannah, Georgia
I’ve seen so many wonderful troop photos of girls in full uniforms and troop t-shirts. Our girls don’t usually wear khakis and I didn’t want the parents to have to stress about clothes shopping for the trip. While I did recommend khaki shorts/skirts I knew my girls would end up in jean shorts most days – I was right! I did ask them all to wear a white shirt and their vest or sash on the first day because I wanted to get some good group photos. I’m so glad that they all complied with my request!! I also found a local t-shirt shop who would print custom shirts for the troop for less than $10 each! We ran out of time as a troop to design the ideal shirt so I left my daughter put her creative skills to work using Canva and helped her design the perfect shirt. I needed a little help from the print shop to flip the font for us so I don’t have the artwork file to share.
