Sweet Tomato Strawberry Fields Salad Recipe

Sweet Tomatoes’ was kind enough to host our family for dinner this month to sample some of their Stars, Stripes and Picnic Delights recipes.

This is one of my favorite places to take my family for dinner because everyone can pick what they want to eat without arguing. When we typically go out to eat there is always the argument about what the kids are going to order and what they are actually going to eat. When was the last time your tween decided they wanted an adult meal only to leave half of it behind because they didn’t like it?? At Sweet Tomatoes’ the kids plate their own food buffet style and I don’t feel bad if they try something that they don’t care for. They can go back for seconds if they are really hungry. I’m always impressed that my kids plate things that we don’t typically prepare at home like beets, cauliflower, and assorted veggies.

My daughter loves all of the Sweet Tomatoes salad recipes; especially the ones featuring fruit! She is so excited to try the new Strawberry Fields salad with caramelized walnuts. Guess what? They’ve even shared the recipe with us if you’d like to try to make it at home after your kids fall in love with it. I’ll post the recipe at the bottom of this page for you.

My son is a soup guy and loves both their Deep Kettle Chili and Big Chunk Chicken Noodle soup. You can load your favorite soup with the toppings of your choice; sour cream, shredded cheese, onions, oyster crackers, oh my!! Plus their bakery offers hot focaccia and assorted breads to accompany your soups.

Kids Eat Free Every Tuesday this summer at Sweet Tomatoes

…and who can forget the ice cream and dessert bar! My kids love making their own soft serve bowls of ice cream and topping them so full that they can barely carry them back to the table. I’m totally fine with them eating ice cream if they’ve eaten a hearty sampling of salad, soup, and all the extras that Sweet Tomatoes offers.

Every Tuesday this summer kids 12 and under eat FREE with each full priced adult meal. No coupons needed; just show up fo lunch or dinner!!

Sweet Tomatoes and Pepsi Promotion
