Know someone special who would love to meet Santa but maybe a little nervous? Or maybe they don’t do well standing in lines? Or maybe crowds scare them? Or maybe you really want to take your pet?
Westfield Malls have a few special events and opportunities to make your trip to see Santa a little more fun.
Hounds for the Holidays: Let’s start with our 4 legged friends. November 27th and Dec 11th between 6:30-8:30pm, your well-behaved leashed pets can visit Santa and get their pictures taken with him. The first 50 friends each night will receive a special stocking stuffed with treats. Suncoast Animal League will be on site with some adorable adoptable pets. For more information, Hounds for the Holidays.
Skip the Lines with Santa Fast Pass: That’s right, plan your visit so that you can avoid standing in line. Pick the date and time for your visit from their available dates and just show up! To reserve your time: Santa’s Fast Pass.
Sensitive Santa Visits: If your child has special needs that may benefit from a more controlled visit with Santa, you may want to check out the Sensitive Santa Stops. On December 4th between 9am-11am, you can reserve a spot with Santa while keeping the groups very small and controlled. BCOTB, Behavioral Consulting of Tampa Bay, has worked with Westfield to create a memorable and joyous meeting with Santa possible for every child. BCOTB implements Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with an emphasis on verbal behavior for children with autism and related disorders. Mommy & Me Day with Santa and His Reindeer: On December 4th between 12pm-2pm you can enjoy a more casual event with Santa and his reindeer; all while supporting St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. There will be a story time with Santa, arts & crafts, gingerbread cookie decorating, and a special meet and greet. Parents can bring their personal cameras for this event also. Space is limited and advanced tickets are required. Get your tickets at Westfield Mommy & Me Day. All proceeds will benefit St Jude’s.
I’m really excited about the Mommy & Me Day with Santa and I’ll be taking my youngest to this event. I’m going to try and bribe my 13 year old to join us, but if he refuses I can let Bailey bring a friend instead. I’m looking forward to decorating some gingerbread cookies without having to make a mess in my kitchen.
Which of these events would be best for your family?
