I would have to say just being able to go to dinner without the kids but with family so far away it’s not too bad to share my time with him and my boys.
Actually, my SO has not gotten me a real valentine’s day gift yet. Once he got me a teddy bear and twice he has gotten me just a card. It has seriously hurt my feelings, despite not trying to be “commerical” or needing junk… but he’s never planned a special evening either. So, he would “woo” me with either or both, especially if he got me a gift from one of my favorite places, supported a small business, or something handmade. Sounds silly, and probably horrible, but I can’t help being a bit “girly” and thinking something would be nice!

I like a quiet night in, actually. Candles, dinner, a clean house. I basically just love to relax! Maybe run a nice bubble bath.

I’d love to just spend the day with my husband and kids. I’d love for my husband to prepare a candlelight dinner for just to two of us after the kids are in bed. He did this a few years ago and I loved it.
Watch the children so I can take a relaxing bath.
