Are you bored with your “go-to” spaghetti night? Our family relies on spaghetti a few times a month and I’ll be the first to admit that it’s rather boring most nights. Tonight I reDEFINED our dinner to make it fun with CLASSICO® spaghetti sauce and a few simple ingredients.
You’ll need spaghetti noodles, ground beef, onion,CLASSICO® spaghetti sauce, taco bowls, and shredded cheese.
Brown your beef with some chopped onion while you are boiling your pasta noodles. This only takes about 5-10 minutes depending on how many hands have decided to help me in the kitchen that night. Tonight my six year old decided she wanted to help mommy cook. I love how excited she gets when she’s in the kitchen with me.
Once your noodles and ground beef are ready, you’ll want to place your taco bowls on a baking sheet. Fill each bowl with drained noodles and top with ground beef,CLASSICO® spaghetti sauce, and shredded cheese. This is seriously one of the quickest and easiest meals that we make each week. My kids loved helping me fill their bowls and the individual servings allow you to customize each one if you happen to have picky eaters. Pop the tray into the oven (350F) for 10 minutes or until your cheese is nice and melted. Serve your CLASSICO® Baked Spaghetti bowls with a side salad and you have a complete meal. The bowl is your bread and you could even sprinkle a little garlic on it before baking.
Once you’re done with dinner it’s time to have some fun with your CLASSICO® sauce jar. Did you know that their bottles use the same size lid as regular mason jars? That means you can reFRESH your CLASSICO® jar and give them a new life with reCAP Mason Jar Lids. reCAP lids are available in a pour top, spray top, and pump style lid.
To reFRESH your jar you’ll need to wash it out and remove the label. I soaked the jar in the soapy water for 10 minutes until the label slid off leaving that sticky residue. Did you know that olive oil can help remove the stickies?? Watch this short video to see how it works, it’s pretty amazing!!
Now you’re ready to reCAP your jar and use it anyway you like. You can reUSE it as a water bottle, soap dispenser, fill it with your favorite DIY household cleaner, store leftovers, or get crafty! The possibilities are endless. The question is, #WhatWillYouReCAP?
I made up a quick household cleaner using some of my favorite ingredients; water, vinegar, and lemon essential oils. Just mix, share, and spray! You’re ready to clean up the mess that your kids helped you make while cooking your baked spaghetti bowls. Better yet, give the cleaner to your kids and let THEM clean up the mess while you reWARD yourself with a sweet treat or a bubble bath (or both).
Do you want a reWARD of your own? I’m giving away a gift bundle from CLASSICO® and reCAP to one lucky reader! You’ll receive 3 coupons for free jars of pasta sauce and 3 reCAP lids. To enter, simply comment on this post and tell me #WhatWillYouRecap. Giveaway open to US residents over the age of 18yrs old and will close at midnight on June 18th, 2015. Good luck!!

I’d re-cap some of our applesauce or jam jars!!! Great giveaway!
I saw a recipe recently for a make it yourself non-stick cooking spray, similar to Pam. I would use this jar and spray lid for that. #WhatWillYouRecap
