I don’t normally share my blogging secrets on my blog, but I have to tell you about CoSchedule Editorial Calendar for bloggers. I have never been a very scheduled blogger and typically just schedule and share things as they are relevant. I know that most successful bloggers are more disciplined and depend on their editorial calendar. When I saw a fellow blogger recommend CoSchedule I just had to try it out.
Take a minute and watch this video on how easy it is to share your content right from your WordPress blog using CoSchedule. On YouTube: http://youtu.be/uK3un3Wt_Qo
When you sign up, you’ll get a free 14 day trial period with CoSchedule and you’ll get to test out all of the features. I figured, “what can it hurt?” right! After signing up and connecting my social media accounts and my blog I didn’t think much of it….
….until I logged back into the admin portal of WordPress and started to blog. Wow! Right there on the admin panel I can write my blog post AND schedule all of my social media sharing. No more going to other websites to schedule my posts – it’s all done right here! Plus you can schedule multiple different social media networks at the same time. It was easy to schedule a post to go live at noon, share on Twitter at 4pm, and again on Facebook at 8pm that night. You can also connect your LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Google+ profiles. This is a huge time saver and I found myself sharing my content more often that I normally would. I even noticed a little jump in my page views during my trial period.
CoSchedule also allows you to drag-and-drop posts and shares on your calendar if you decide to change your schedule. Do you contribute to a multi-user blog? CoSchedule will help you manage a team and you can even communicate with other team members right there on your blog. There is no limit to the number of uses or social accounts you can connect.
Did I mention there’s a FREE to try for 14 days? After that it’s only $10 a month per blog, or less if you take advantage of their referral program. Just by sharing this review I’ll save 50% off my subscription for the entire year and if you sign up, I’ll save even more. Just click this graphic to sign up! (Referral link)
Here’s a quick glimpse at the admin side of CoSchedule once you have it linked up to your blogs and social accounts. When I tell you it’s THIS simple, it really is! It took me all of 5 minutes to set everything up and less than 5 minutes to figure out how to use the application.
Now that I’ve used up my free 14 day trial period, I’m hooked! As soon as I’m done writing this post I’m going to go upgrade my account so I can keep scheduling my posts automatically within WordPress. The key to blogging successfully is to continue to share your information (old and new) with the world. Just because you write it, doesn’t necessarily mean that everyone will see it. With CoSchedule, at least you’ll have all the tools and resources to share it quick, easily, and efficiently right from your blog over all your social media accounts. Give it a try, what do you have to lose? Click HERE (referral link) to sign up!
