Looking for a few new books to read with your toddler? Here is what we’re reading now.
Clifford’s Valentine – This was one of my sons favorite stories and we continue to read it with the tiny tot as well. Did you know that Clifford turned 50 last week?
Bailey by Harry Bliss – Bailey is a dog who is getting ready for school. He has to pick out his outfit, finish his homework, and try not to get distracted while at school. We had to get this one since our tots name is also Bailey.
Noodles: I Hate Bedtime by Hans Wilhelm – Does your toddler hate bedtime as much as mine does? Find out how much Noodles hates bedtime and see if he stays up until midnight like my tot.
Ten Little Pumpkins – Don’t laugh! The last two times we’ve gone to the library she’s insisted on taking home the Halloween stories (and it’s February).
If your toddler loves to read as much as mine you’ll want to download the Storia app by Scholastic on your tablet or phone. Storia is a teacher endorsed reading app that helps introduce reading to your child. In the early days of learning this interactive app will actually read to your child and allow them to play games along with the characters in the book. You can buy books in their online bookstore and they will even help you select age appropriate stories for your child. We love to use Storia when we’re on road trips when I can’t read (while driving) to her.
Storia is a FREE app and books are reasonably priced and eco-friendly. Just for downloading the Storia app you’ll receive 5 free books for your child. Thanks to Scholastic I have 3 Storia gift cards valued at $10 each. Complete the steps in the Rafflecopter app below to enter. Giveaway open to residents of the US over the age of 18 yrs of age.
Disclosure: This post was sponsored by Scholastic; however my opinions and content is my own. My kids have always loved to read and many of their favorite books are from Scholastic.

We love books and scholastic! My little one loves to read! His favorite books are from the Biscuit series!
My toddler loves all Little Critter books, my baby loves the Peekaboo series books.
Right now both of my toddlers love all the Llama llama books
My kids love all kinds of books. A favorite is Berenstein Bears!
She loves reading. We both love the book I Love you Stinky Face.
My son loves to read. He brings me one story after another. His favorite is a flap book called Freight Train Trip. I also recently got Mo Willems’ Goldilocks and the Three Dinosaurs and it’s hilarious.
Right now my son is falling in love again with, “Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site.” My daughter loves Elmo’s, “So Big!”
Its a toss-up between bus books (especially “Don’t let the Pigeon Drive the Bus” and “Bus Stops”) and his nighttime book (Llama Llama Nighty Night)
My kids like Skippyjon Jones and Splat the Cat. We went to the library yesterday and my boy picked out a couple of Halloween books. He wanted something “scary.”
My daughter loves Clifford! She also loves any Pinkalicious or princess book.
My son loves, “I Love You Stinkyface”
Right now, my daughter loves Roar of a Snore.
