Meet some of my cloth diapering friends and sponsors…

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to have new content delivered to your inbox! I hope to see you on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. I have a lot of information on rock painting and cloth diapers in my archives if you're interested! Thanks for visiting!

Nice to see you again! Hope you're having a fabulous day! Can I help you with anything? Contact Me!

I wanted to take a minute to introduce you to some of my newer cloth diaper related friends and sponsors.

New(er) cloth diaper detergent companies:

Molly's Suds Cloth Diaper DetergentLocal to the Tampa Bay crowd is a wonderful lady that I met in the Spring, Monica from Molly’s Suds.  Molly’s Suds is a natural laundry (and cloth diaper) detergent that is free of perfumes, dyes, phosphates, dioxins and other harmful ingredients.  It’s also vegan and cruelty free.  What I loved? I absolutely loved opening the bag and smelling the fresh organic peppermint essential oils, one of my favorite scents.  Molly’s Suds is available online, at a few local Tampa Bay stores, and even available on Amazon.  You can follow Molly’s Suds on Facebook.

A Happy Green Life

If you love scented cloth diaper laundry detergents you’ll love A Happy Green Life.  In addition to their seasonal scents, some of my favorites include Cotton Candy, Lilac, and Pink Sugar.   The company reveals their ingredients and include sodium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate, sodium percarbonate, fragrances, and essential oils.  Note: Many cloth diaper manufacturers actually void your warranty with the use of any fragrances – however the company states that their product does not cause build up or repelling due to these fragrances and washes clean.  I’m not a chemist so I’ll let you decide for yourself if this is a detergent you’d like to try on your diapers – as for my regular laundry I LOVED the fresh scents that were left behind.  While I typically prefer unscented, it was nice to have a natural scented option if I wanted it.  You can follow A Happy Green Life on Facebook.

New(er) to me cloth diaper companies:

Geffen BabyGeffen Baby is a new company out of Vernon, CA with 95% of their products manufactured in the U.S.  Geffen Baby makes a line of jersey prefolds, fleece prefolds, universal cloth diaper inserts, fitted, wipes, and nursing pads.  I have one of their jersey prefolds that I am absolutely smitten with the quality.  They are 60% hemp and 40% cotton (all organic) and have a super soft feel with a bit of stretch that make them perfect for getting a nice snug fit on your little ones behind.  For a limited time you can get free shipping in the U.S. when you use coupon code “GRAND” at checkout.  You can follow Geffen Baby on Facebook.

GEN-Y Diaper Covers:  These high quality diaper covers have some of the cutest prints on the market!  What makes their diaper covers so unique?  They are PUL lined on the inside but stylish (couture) cloth on the outside.  They are side-snapping and their Universal cover has a really nice inner gusset that helps prevents leaks better than covers with only a single gusset.  Here is a great diagram that helps you understand some of the key features:

GEN-Y is also made in the U.S. and will fit nicely over just about every diaper or insert you have in your stash.  I love the Arcade print (Pac-Man) in the Classic Cover Collection (does that mean I’m showing my age?).  You can follow GEN-Y on Facebook.

What else is new(er) or trendy in the cloth diaper industry?  The ABC Kids Expo is coming up the second week of October where baby, toddler, and children product companies reveal their hottest baby products to your favorite retailers.  It’s not uncommon for cloth diaper companies to reveal new prints, colors, and product lines around the ABC Kids Expo.  I happen to have the inside scoop on one such company….but you’ll have to wait a few more days to find out more about our Great Cloth Diaper Mystery and the #phantomfluff Twitter Party!  Here is a sneak peek of some of my favorite colors and print that I suspect may reveal itself in the cloth diaper community later this week.

Phantom of the Cloth

Do you think these will be the fashion forward colors for the Fall?  What else do you hope to see revealed in the industry?

Those are perfect colors for fall season! And that diaper cover looks nicely-made. Is the outer material minky? Love the stylish couture prints. Lots of new fluff brands to try. Thanks for the reviews!
