We try to keep our home a bit warmed than normal to help with energy use and cost.
We are trying to use fans more than AC, but it’s hard in Florida! HOT!
We cut back on the AC, cloth diaper, recycle, etc.
Starting to Cd my new baby, use more reusable water bottles and water filters instead of buying store bought water bottles.
Even though I didn’t win, I still thank you for hosting this. =)
Reusable shopping bags
Make a spot with plants to atteact bugs and bees away from the house then plant marigolds and lemon balm around the house instead of spraying pest control.
We recycle as much as possible
We do not purchase water bottles anymore we each bought a water container that we reuse and refill daily!
I’m really late for this but still wanted to share how my family goes green this summer. Let’s start with cloth diapers, cloth wipes, line drying, homade everything; diapers, wipes, wipe solution, laundry detergent, dish washing detergent ( which we barely use bc me mostly hand wash dishes), most of my house cleaners are homemade as well. My husband aka “hall monitor” unscrews lightbulbs around the house. We have a lot of windows in our house so lots of natural light during the day. And our air is never below 70. ( at least when the hall monitor is looking)
Hello! I’ve been reading your weblog for a long time now and finally got the courage to go ahead and give you a shout out from Iowa. Just wanted to tell you keep up the fantastic work!
It is the happiest time of my life so far, when I am watching these funny video clips here, since after whole day working I was so tired and now feeling perfectly.
