This is the easiest play dough recipe that I’ve ever found. I found it so many years ago I don’t even know where it originated from. My favorite scents and colors come from Kool-Aid powdered drink mix. The bright colors work the best (blues, reds, greens, pinks, and purples) and they smell fabulous.
I’m getting ready to experiment with some seasonal scents like gingerbread and pumpkin. My goal for the holidays is to make enough play dough to package them up as nice gift packs for my kids friends. There are some great packaging ideas on Pinterest along with 100’s of other recipes.
I finally purchased some cream of tarter to try out those recipes as well. You can also add some glitter to the dough if your kids like things sparkly.
Do you have a favorite play dough recipe? Do you have a favorite scent or color that you use?

Have to try this one, it looks easier than what I was using and the KoolAid sounds YUM!

This recipe for homemade play dough sounds so much easier than the one I used to make for my kids. I think I will try it to use with my grandkids. Thanks
I especially like the idea of using Kool-Aid for color and smell. Kids love things that smell good.
