One of these things is not like the other, one of these things does not belong!
Living by the beach my trunk is full of beach toys of all sizes and types. When we visit the beach there are always a scattering of buckets and shovels that have been left by the loving family who brought them to the beach. What happens to those petroleum filled toxic plastic beach toys? There are no cleaning crews at the beach when we leave – no ocean fairies that clean up our trash! The tide rolls in and carries away these plastic items out into the ocean where they can travel for years. Where they end up nobody really knows. If you’d like to know more about living a plastic free life please visit my friend and fellow blogger Beth Terry at her blog, My Plastic-Free Life.
The turquoise and green beach toys above are by Zoe B Organic. They are biodegradable, free of BPA’s, phthalates, and PVC. Each beach toy set contains a bucket with built in handles, a sifting lid (very cool), 2 cups and 1 perfectly sized scoop for playing in the sand and water. All of the products are made in the US from Mirel, a bioplastic made from corn. My kids fought over who was going to play with the new toys on our last trip to the beach. No one wanted to play with the old orange and red buckets.

Disclosure: Zoe B Organic was kind enough to send my kids one of their new biodegradable beach toys for review. No other compensation was received.

Great fun! Love the eco-friendly toys!
Wow, the ways you can “go green” really are endless! I’ll def. keep these sand toys in mind for next summer!
