Who said these had to be in consecutive order? Oh I’ve so enjoyed my internet break but I’ve missed you all so much!!! Have you missed me? We snuck away on a small cruise to Mexico to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday aa a family and it was so fun to be offline for FIVE whole days – not knowing what was going on in ‘my’ real world.
When I left you last I had begun a series of 30 Reasons to Love Cloth Diapers inspired by a post by Natali Morris over at CBS Eye on Parenting. We were on Day 6 (or should I say Reason 6) on why I love cloth diapers and I shared with you my favorite prints.
Today is actually a special day for cloth diapers – the Real Diaper Association is releasing their brand new 2011 RDA 100% reusable cloth diapers photo calendar featuring 12 adorable babies and their even cuter fluffy bums! This is the second year that the RDA has produced a photo calendar and it’s one of their annual holiday fundraisers. You can get a sneak peak at the winning photos on the RDA blog – how stinking cute are they!?!? In addition to the calendar the RDA is announcing their first annual Holiday Auction featuring some amazing cloth diapering packages and a few special custom made diapers from proud RDA Members and Partners. **I’ve had a sneak peek and you’ll want to see this!!!
To kick off the calendar and holiday auction Eco Chic Parties is hosting another fabulous Twitter Party TUESDAY night (Dec 7th) at 9pm ET. And what would a Twitter Party be without fabulous prizes?? Lucky party attendees will take home gifts from The Willow Store and Fuzbaby – and I’m giving away one of the first 2011 RDA Calendars myself.
So why do I love cloth diapers today???
- For Tuesday night Twitter Parties (or any #clothdiapers Twitter Party really)
- For awesome cloth diapers giveaways during Eco Chic Parties
- For the RDA and anyone who advocates for cloth diapers
- For 12 months to enjoy cute babies in fluffy bums in the new 2011 RDA Calendar
- For the brand new exciting RDA Holiday Auction
- For long vacations and much needed breaks
- For knowing that you are all still here when I returned!
Want to know what Day 8 will bring? How about an interview with Natali Morris and an update on her 30 Cloth Diaper Challenge – I think she and her husband might be addicted!
