What do you use to wash your baby?  Like most parents I use the old fashioned Johnson’s and Johnson’s Head to Toe Baby Wash.  How can I not use something that costs a mere dollar at most retail stores?  They give it to you free at the hospital.  You get a million bottles at baby showers.  I’ll be honest, this is what I’ve used on my son and this is what I currently use on my newborn.  But what’s in these traditional baby washes?

I found this on the J&J website:
Ingredients: Water, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, PEG-80 Sorbitan Laurate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, PEG-150 Distearate, Tetrasodium EDTA, Sodium Chloride, Polyquaternium-10, Fragrance, Quaternium-15, Citric Acid

I was given a sample of the ECO store USAs Baby Body Wash so I tried it.  It’s not normally something I would splurge on (unlike the Baby Nappy Balm) at $10 a bottle but after comparing ingredient lists I might consider it.  Here is the ingredient list of the Baby Body Wash:

Ingredients: Water, Sodium Lauroamphoacetate, Sodium Lauroyl Glutamate, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Sodium Hydroymethylglycinate, Lavandula Hybrida Oil, Geranium Maculatum Oil, Eucalyptus Globulus Oil, Citral, Citronellol, Coumarin, d-Limonene, Geraniol

How important is it to be able to provide the very best for your child?  If cost were the only factor than the J&J would win out everytime.  Fortunately there are parents willing to put the health of their children above the financial savings of these readily available products.

Visit ECO store USA to learn more about the health benefits of their products and keep reading The EcoChic to find out how to win a $25 gift certificate to use at their online store.

That is so try about the Johnson’s baby wash, we all use it because it smells good and is not expensive. And I think you are right my sons are 3 and 4 and still think I have those small samples from the baby showers.
I guess I need to consider their health and not my pocket book

I also have been using Johnson’s baby wash head to toe on my babies! It smells good and is priced right! But I would love to try this baby wash and I would spend the extra money on it because it’s earth friendly and very safe for my baby!

    Have a lovely day!
