Thirsties NEW Hook & Loop @TheEcoChic

Thirsties has just got even better than before with a new and improved hook & loop on all their diapers and diaper covers, proving that BIGGER is BETTER!

I’ve always loved my Thirsties diapers, but I will admit that when my daughter was in cloth diapers the hook & loop frayed easily and didn’t last very long.  I’m excited to share with you some of the new and exciting changes that have been made across the entire line of Thirsties diapers. They have scoured the market to find the strongest hook & loop available.

Bigger is Better @TheEcoChic

Thirsties has also redesigned the size and shape of the bullets (tabs) solving some of the common hook & loop problems.  This new shape and size will:

  • Make it harder for a baby to take off.
  • Virtually eliminate frayed edges.
  • Prevent the dreaded diaper chain in your laundry.
  • Make you diapers last longer.

The size of the laundry tabs have also increased to match the size of the bullets.

In addition to hook & loop changes, Thirsties has consolidated the color palette across the entire Duo line.  You may notice some additional colors from the diaper covers (aqua and celery) are now available in the Duo AIO and Duo Wrap.  You may also notice that Scottish Rose is now missing from the entire Thirsties line.  For a limited time, Baby Bird Blue and Lavender will be available in the Duo Wrap.  Check your favorite retailer to see exactly which colors will be continuing.  Kelly’s Closet has the new Thisties hook & loop available NOW!

Would you like to enter to win a brand new Thirsties Duo AIO with the new hook & loop closure?  I’m giving away one to lucky Eco Chic reader, just complete the Rafflecopter application below.  Giveaway ends on October 11th at midnight EDT.

I love that fraying will be gone now! It’s so sad when the diapers don’t last as long as they should… Can’t wait to get some of the new hook & loop 🙂

I’m excited just because I like hook and loop for night time. The fact that these are supposed to hold up longer is always a plus, especially since this is my first child!

I like the hook and loop. I have always used snaps and sometimes it can be challenging while snapping the snaps while the baby wiggles. LOL!

I hate h&l for 2 reasons – 1) the laundry tabs wear out quickly, so they stick to everything except the tabs. And 2) the rest of the h&l wears out so the diapers don’t stay on. If these solve those problems, that’d be amazing (although I’ll admit that my current thirsties have the best h&l out of my stash so far already)

My favorite feature is of course the larger tabs for the hook and loop– this will make the diaper more customizable for fit, as well as more durable. Can’t wait to try one out on our fresh baby!

I’d be very interested to see how long the hook and loop lasts. I had someone *give* me a bunch of old Thirsties covers because in the condition they were in, she couldn’t resell them. I’d be really excited if they are true to their word!
