Earth Footwear – I have an addiction!

January 21, 2013 By: Calley Pate55 Comments

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to have new content delivered to your inbox! I hope to see you on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. I have a lot of information on rock painting and cloth diapers in my archives if you're interested! Thanks for visiting!

Nice to see you again! Hope you're having a fabulous day! Can I help you with anything? Contact Me!

I have to admit something to you, I have an addiction to Earth Footwear!  I got my first pair last February and I now have three pairs.  My favorite pair are my Camelli’s because I get to wear them almost year round here in Florida.  My most recent pair is a pair of boots from their Winter Collection; the Chinook mid-calf boots.  For a Floridian it’s not unusual for us to have several pairs of boots that we pull out for the few days a year when the weather dips below 70F.  I’m not kidding – when it’s 68 outside you’ll see the women of Florida in boots just because we can.

All of my boots are either ankle boots or knee high boots.  I have a problem (don’t hate me) finding mid-calf boots that fit me because I have skinny legs/calves.  I don’t like it when the boots gap around my calves.  This is another reason I don’t (yet) own a pair of cowboy boots (highly annoying because I REALLY want a pair).

I’ve been eyeing the Chinooks for a few months now and the fine people at Earth Footwear heard my pleas and sent a pair to me.  I didn’t care that it was over 70 outside I had to try them out immediately.  I mostly wear them with skinny jeans so I can show off the details like the buckles and brushed leather.

For a dressier look I wore my Chinooks with an Old Navy sweater dress and some tights.  This has become my “outfit of choice” when the weather dips below 70.  The boots are available in both dark grey or cinnamon.  Here is what it might look like in cinnamon:

I can see me wearing these next Fall to football games in Athens paired with a mini-skirt.  Here is an actual picture of me wearing them with my sweater dress but you’ll have to excuse the quality of the photo (and my sons photography skills).

How I Wore My Chinook boots by Earth Footwear

I’m pretty sure that this outfit will be making an appearance at the Blissdom conference in Dallas this March since I know I can wear the boots all day (and night) without killing my feet or back.

Want to win a pair of Earth Footwear shoes?  They will send the winner one pair from their available selection (styles may vary).  See Rafflecopter form to enter.

How would you wear a pair of Chinooks by Earth Footwear?

Disclosure: Thank you Earth Footwear for sending me a pair of Chinooks for review.  No other compensation was received and my opinions are my own.  I really love these boots!!

Oh my… these are just great! I love suede, but in Toronto, there’s so much snow that salt on the sidewalks is a part of winter. The winter salt wrecks havoc on anything remotely resembling suede. I love that these have the leather bottoms with the suede accent on top. Now I can have my suede and wear it in the winter too!
