I have some exciting news to share with you, I am now an Editorial Contributor for Kaia Magazine.  I met Amanda (the owner of Kaia and the Eco-Friendly Family Blog) earlier this year in one of my blog groups and we met in person at Blissdom.  We hit it off instantly and she asked if I would join the team of contributors at Kaia Magazine, an e-magazine for sustainable living.  I was even more excited when she told me I could have my own recurring column called Family Matters.

Family Matters

Family Matters is going to be a column that shares eco-friendly activities that can be shared with the entire family and strengthen your family relationships.  This months feature was about dying Easter eggs naturally (see page 20-21).

The Spring Issue of Kaia is also their baby, mom, and pregnancy issue so I contributed an article on Sustainable Diapering Options (see page 64-66).  It started out as an article on using cloth diapers but I decided to include “eco-friendly” (I use that term loosely) diapers and elimination communication as well.

Other great articles within the pages of Kaia this issue include Earth Day picnic ideas, how to combat fleas naturally, and tips on breastfeeding twins.  I’m so excited to be working on this project and can’t wait to start my column for the next issue.

Be sure to head over to Facebook and “Like” Kaia Magazine so you can catch all the great posts that they share from the pages of their magazine.
