Can I say yes to all of the above? I’ve only shopped a few times on Etsy but I do a LOT of window shopping. My daughter turned 2 in January and I didn’t want to go to the store to buy her cheap plastic crap that may or may not be filled with toxins. Instead I went to Etsy and made my first purchase (actually I made 2 purchases).
A few weeks later I was approached by a sweet momma who wanted to send me one of her adorable products to be featured here.
I’ve actually had a few items up for sale on Etsy but with all my other projects I just don’t have the time to be very productive and creative. Therefore I don’t have anything up right now. Who knows what the future will hold for that.
Featured Etsy Shop of the week: The Flavored Vase
Stephanie and Susanne only have a few items up for sale but they are adorable. Lil’ B got her first play kitchen for Christmas so she needed her own little girl apron. This pint sized apron is perfect for your tot to pre-schooler. In fact it still fits my 8 year old nicely. Please don’t laugh at my picture, it’s horrible but she won’t stand still very long these days!! The kids have a lot of fun dressing up and making each other dinner.
As you can tell it’s generously sized so it will fit your tot for several years and maybe someday mine will actually use it in the kitchen with me one day. The quality of the product was very nice. As a novice sewer I can tell that these ladies know their way around a sewing machine!
Nice features of the child sized aprons:
- Fabric covered elastic around the neck allows the apron to fit nicely over the childs head.
- Waist strap has a Velcro closure and is large enough to fit a larger child.
- Cute Mary Engelbreit fabric – although you can choose your own fabric too.
- They offer personalization upon request.
- Made in the USA!
For only $15 how can you go wrong with this adorable pint sized apron!! If you visit The Flavored Vase be sure to tell them The Eco Chic sent you.
Other Etsy Shops I love:
Snuggy Baby – I bought Lil’ B an adorable tot sized toy doll sling for her birthday. It fits her perfectly and the cute owl print is to die for! Wish I would have found this shop when she was a wee one because they have matching slings and carriers for the mama’s too. You can follow them on Facebook and Twitter too.
Cloth Diaper Club– I bought Lil’ B her first baby doll cloth diaper before I realized I could make my own. For only $5 the shop owner even gift wrapped it for me! The reason I picked this diaper is because it matched our real cloth diaper from Nifty Nappies. Now she can wear the same cloth diaper as her baby doll…how cute! They also make real baby diapers, woolies, soakers, and more.
The Threaded Needle – April is one of my Twitter friends and we’re working out a trade for one of my own baby doll cloth diapers for one of her Kindle cover. Looks like her store is currently on vacation while she moves. I’ll be sharing more from April in the future for sure!
