There are more and more green cleaners on the market and I found yet another one today.  It looks like Clorox has been working on a line of green household cleaners for several years and they are finally hitting the market.  I’ve been doing some research on similar biobased cleaners for work and these products sound really good.  They are 99% all natural and 99% petrochemical free.  What are petrochemicals?  They are products made from raw materials of petroleum.  Our petroleum resources are already limited and becoming more expensive daily.  These products are biodegradeable and not tested on animals.  They do not contain phosphorous or bleach.  As a mom of a young child I’m all for using natural products around the house.  EPA even gives these products a Designed for the Environment seal of approval.  It looks like they are starting with five general purpose cleaners;

  • All purpose cleaner,
  • Toilet bowl cleaner,
  • Dilutable cleaner,
  • Bathroom cleaner, and
  • Glass and surface cleaner.

I can’t wait to find these products in the store and try them out, especially the bathroom cleaners.  I have horrible asthma and leave the cleaning to my husband.  I’m sure he’d be glad to hand that one back to me.  As soon as I try them out I’ll give you my product review; but I’m not out of cleaning supplies so if anyone beats me to the review please share it here.
