Getting Paid to Blog??

Most of my friends are well aware that you can actually make money from blogging.  However some of my readers may not know about this.  It’s fairly new to me since I’ve yet to get paid for anything I blog about.

But why not get paid to blog?  I do endorse others products, services and websites so I should at least get paid in the process.  One company that offers to pay you to blog is Blogvertise.  It’s pretty simple (from what I understand) for even the most basic bloggers like myself.  You log in to Blogvertise and sign up for a free account.  Then you write a blog (much like this one) to show that you understand how the system works.  The next step (fingers crossed) is that Blogvertise will approve your blog and you can begin getting paid for your posts.

Which posts do you get paid for?  Well Blogvertise has a list of assignments that you can choose from.  Then you relate the assignment to your blog, yourself, etc. and write about it.  Of course you do have to mention the product or service you are blogging about; which I already do without being paid.

How much does it pay?  That’s my little secret!  Actually it’s not really a secret.  Most companies, including Blogvertise, pay you anywhere from $4 up to write a post.  That’s not too shabby for a few minutes out of your day.  I can see how this can become even more addicting that it already it.    Who knows, if I get good enough at this blogging stuff I might start donating some of my revenue to an environmental organization.
